padded jackets. Rich people possessed expensive coats made from velvet,
silk and brocade, while the poor often wore worn-out ones from year to
year.
Ha Noi will celebrate a night of head-to-toe fashion
tonight in a show entitled Mix & Match, featuring collections by
designers from ADesigner Ha Noi and the Viet Nam Leather and Footwear
Association (Lefaso).
Shoemakers and designers will join hands in
developing a fashionable shoe and accessories industry as a result of a
workshop on creative ideas held in Ha Noi on Friday.
